New Waddell’s Banner
A newish banner I made a couple of months ago for Waddell’s Brewing Co. features many of the beer tap labels I have designed over the years. Mmmm. Beer.

Mt. Spokane Winter Ale
Here’s a new tap handle I designed for Waddell’s Brewing Co.
3D Parallax Effect
Just messing around with Adobe After Effects. This is a pretty cool parallax technique to give your photographs some depth when using them in TV production. The cheesy lens flare is just for fun. Video below.
The Healing Lodge
New responsive website created for The Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations. A great organization doing good things.
Sweet Ride Bikes
One of my best, good friends restores and fixes old bikes. He needed a logo and told me the following:
I want a pig, riding a hipster/fixie bike with no hands, texting on an iPhone with earbuds. You know, he’s kind of a bad ass pig, texting his sow.
You got it dude.
Take a Hike
It’s always fun when I can use some of my climbing & hiking photography in my design work. This is the front page of the Huckleberry’s Natural News & Savings for June, 2014. It’s an 8 page savings guide that we do every month. The photo is from a backpacking trip I took in Montana. I will not disclose the exact location 😉
Around the World in 80 Beers
Here’s a fun graphic I made for today’s Huckleberry’s ad. Their wine & beer department has a beer club featuring beers from around the world.
Around the World in 80 Beers
So you want to be a famous beer connoisseur…To become a member of the Huckleberry’s “Around the World in 80 Beers” club, all you’ve got to do is grab a beer card from Lou Anne or Drew, and start purchasing the designated brews; don’t forget to save the bar code! What you’ll get in return: bragging rights, fun times, and a t-shirt that cannot be purchased-only earned! Happy exploring.
Waddell’s Brewpub & Grille
I’ve been fortunate to work closely with the owner of Waddell’s on his new restaurant in North Spokane, Waddell’s Brewpub & Grille. After initial meetings it was determined that we needed to really bring back the legend of Rube Waddell, a remarkably dominant strikeout pitcher from the early 1900’s. Stories and newspaper clippings tell a wild tale of this man.
Waddell’s on- and off-field exploits became instant legends.
Waddell was so unpredictable, and into fire fighting, that a myth was circulated that he had a habit of leaving the dugout in the middle of games to follow passing fire trucks to fires.
He performed as an alligator wrestler in the offseason.
Fastballs, fishing, fire fighting, females and firewater – all were favorite pasttimes of Rube Waddell. And, not necessarily in that order – as long as it added up to fun.
The restaurant, brewery, beer logos, and website are all rooted in these stories and they were a blast to research and illustrate.
Lucky Jack Orchards
Another great logo project, this time for Lucky Jack Orchards, north of Wenatchee, WA.
The new owners of Lucky Badger Orchards wanted to honor their father Jack, who had founded the orchard with a partner in the 60’s, so they changed the name to fit. Jack was a Green Beret in the Army and the family has a history of military service. A Jack of Hearts playing card was used as the basis of the logo (and business cards), swapping the hearts for apples and a green beret for the Jack.

Mansfield Connection
Spokane Valley Public Works hired me to create some renderings of an upcoming street connection project. The goal of the renderings are to show the public what is being planned, which is to tear down the apartment building and to finally make Mansfield a through street.
